Emergency Management Plans compliant with AS3745:2002 and, in the case of healthcare organizations, AS4083:1997
Beaware Solutions has provided an Emergency Management Plan to satisfy Alternate Solutions to BCA requirements as identified within Fire Safety
Engineering Reports. With building design unable to cater for all aspects of the Building Codes of Australia when it comes to fire safety, Fire
Safety Engineers often require an Emergency Management Plan that complies with Australian Standards. Beaware Solutions has achieved an extremely
high standard within the industry, so much so that Building Certifiers are now requesting advice on Plans submitted by other service providers.
The requirements of ‘due diligence’ in providing a safe and secure working environment has prompted clients such as strata managers and facilities
managers to use our consultants in developing site-specific plans for buildings under their care. It doesn’t matter whether the building is new or
old, a 20-storey city building or a single-storey shopping complex, consultants have worked with the client and building certifiers to achieve a
workable emergency management plan that satisfies the requirements of Australian Standards and local Councils.
Our consultants do more than provide you with a document – they provide you with a working document that provides a clear instruction for the
management of any emergency. Our services include a full awareness briefing after compilation of the Plan to ensure that the end-user understands
the document completely.
Our Emergency Management package can include Evacuation Floor Plans and/or an Emergency Procedures Manual (see products).
Recent projects have included RTA Parramatta, Cammeray Square, La Maison Gordon, Pinctada Resort Cable Beach (WA), 379 King Street Sydney, Clown
Town Rosehill, Unitingcare Northern Sydney Region.
Security Audits and Security Management Plans, using Australian Standards HB167
Each Beaware Solutions consultant has qualifications in Security and Risk Management and licensed under State laws. They each have over 20 years
experience in law and security fields. We use the Australian Standards Handbook 167 and the Security Risk Management Body of Knowledge promoted
through the Risk Management Institution of Australasia to provide a structured framework in assessing buildings, assets, processes and people –
key elements of every client's needs.
Beaware Solutions provides a comprehensive approach to security assessments. We don’t concentrate solely on CCTV or alarms, locks or grilles, we look
at the whole built environment and procedures associated within that environment. We look at external factors that can have an impact on any building
and its occupants. We also look at how external factors that can have an impact on the building, business continuity and any required recovery process.
Amongst many other items and systems we look at lighting, landscaping, traffic management, paths, parking, access, usage, contractor and employee
management, emergency equipment, and opportunities for improvement. Whilst other consultants will concentrate on physical aspects, we go beyond the expected.
Recent projects include Parramatta Stadium, Thomas Bowden Retirement Village and Parkridge Apartments Darlinghurst.
OH&S Management Systems Audits using AS4801 and AS4804
The increasing demand to provide a safe and secure environment for staff, students, shoppers, patients, spectators, visitors and/or contractors
means that managers need to ensure that an OHS Management System is not only in place, but also providing a working system that manages risks
associated with each building, each process and the processes and methods used by external service providers.
Our consultants are able to audit and assess any OHS Management System or workplace. We can also provide documents and schedules to satisfy part
or all of that system, documents such as
· Risk Management Plan,
· Risk Register,
· Safe Work Method Statement,
· Contractor Management,
· Employee Induction Form,
· Chemical Register.
